Hello, thanks for taking the time to visit my website.
You have probably visited the site because something is impacting your emotional or mental health and you want to do something about it.
Hopefully you’ve come to the right place and it’s already a positive step that you are here because mental health is just as important as physical health. The relationship between both is real and strong.
My name is Andy Weston, I’m a qualified counsellor & psychotherapist and a member of BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and COSCA (Scotland’s professional body for counselling and psychotherapy).
I work as a psychotherapeutic counsellor with clients both in-person and online.
Both in-person and online therapy provides a safe, confidential and secure space which can help to vastly improve the quality of your life. I know this because I’m in personal therapy myself. It makes me a more informed, empathetic therapist and has hugely improved the quality of my life and my relationship with others.
Seeing a therapist doesn’t mean there’s something wrong with you and I believe everyone can benefit from therapy. It should be a proactive not a reactive choice to invest in your wellbeing.
Working online means I’m able to help people from across the UK and other parts of the world. The online video sessions take place safely via Zoom through a private link.
My in-person (often called face-to-face) practice is based in Finnieston, Glasgow.
I’m situated on the ground floor which provides further ease of access.
Detailed directions can be found on the Contact/Location section here.
If you want to get in touch with any questions or enquire about starting therapy, email me on andywestoncounselling@gmail.com or call/text me on 07866628250. I may be unavailable at the time but will aim to return your message within 24 hours.
Feel free to have a browse around my website to find out more about me, my training and how I practice.
The FAQ section may answer most of your questions but I am an open book so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Take care for now.
Andy.
Some things my clients say about working together;
‘Andy is a very approachable person who is easy to open up to. He has helped me enormously. I’m hugely grateful and genuinely excited for the future now.’
‘I’d never been to counselling before and was really nervous beforehand. But Andy’s gentle manner put me at ease quickly. I thought I knew what my issues were but it was only through therapy that I was able to truly understand what was going on and put things right.’
